About us
WE CARE, Washington Educational Coalition for Adults Returning to Education, was founded in 1997 as a non-profit coalition of colleges and universities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
WE CARE primary members include more than 40 fully accredited public and
private educational institutions that offer a full spectrum of
educational programs designed for working adults, including technical,
two-year, undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree and
certificate programs. From on-campus to distance education formats, our
member institutions aim to deliver educational offerings that maximize
accessibility to working adults.
WE CARE associate members offer educational support and business related
products and services. WE CARE is dedicated to promoting the
educational, workforce development, and community support programs of
its members to the profit, non profit, and government sectors.
