About us
WE CARE, Washington Educational Coalition for Adults Returning to Education, was founded in 1997 as a non-profit coalition of colleges and universities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
WE CARE primary members include more than 40 fully accredited public and private educational institutions that offer a full spectrum of educational programs designed for working adults, including technical, two-year, undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree and certificate programs. From on-campus to distance education formats, our member institutions aim to deliver educational offerings that maximize accessibility to working adults.
WE CARE associate members offer educational support and business relatedproducts and services.
WE CARE is dedicated to promoting the educational, workforce development, and community support programs of its members to the profit, non profit, and government sectors.
